On December 6, 2006, all members of the Institute Id in New York and many members of the Idente family from the five boroughs gathered together in Saint Patrick´s Cathedral to pay homage to the to Dr. Fernando Rielo. The solemn mass was presided by the Provincial Superior of the Idente Missionaries in concelebration with clergy three years have elapsed since the passing of  Fernando Rielo, by which he achieved his deepest yearning: to unite with the Divine Persons and to obtain the grace for what he always dreamt for all persons: an authentic peace in the heart and in the nations, which can only be the fruit of God’s presence in and among men. Events celebrated in tribute to Fernando Rielo exhibited facets of his work as poet and thinker, including his spiritual legacy as a man in love with God and as founder of a Catholic religious institution: Idente Missionaries.
